22 Years Later...We Shall Never Forget

From: Jon Bott
Date: 09/04/2004
Message: It is a week before the 3rd anniversary of Sept 11th. I jog by the Brooklyn Promenade at least 4 times a week Pete and I always say a prayer to you. I know you know, but I had to perhaps put in words for myself. I wish so badly we had talked before that terrible day...I miss you and your infectious humour, your wonderful wit and how comfortable and easy you made people feel. I think about you all the time buddy...You and I were so close to reuniting again; You having a home in S. Egremont where my parents have a home...traveling on your Ducati down "Bott" road asking Robbie, "where is that guy?"...we just missed each other my friend but you will always be clear in my mind and a tight bond in my heart. I will never forget you!
