From: Deb Date: 09/13/2006 Message: I live in West Des Moines, Iowa and an insurance company has erected nearly 3,000 flags to represent each life taken 0n 9/11. The grounds are generally lit and the flags breath taking. Each flag has a yellow ribbon with a name of a victim. In a darker area there was a spot light on one flag and it beckoned me to write down the name. It had "Robert Edward Pattison, Age 40" on the ribbon. "America the Beautiful" drifted through speakers as a background to a recording of the names of all victims being read. My hope is that a family member may see this and it will bring a good feeling. It is a very nice tribute. |
