From: SGT Brian Sheppard
Date: 05/07/2006
Message: I was in the Navy with Ed in Hawaii as a fellow AG. I was at Pax River, MD when ED died. We were supposed to meet for dinner two days later. We had not seen each other in a year since I left Hawaii. I'm in Iraq with the Army now and Ed's name is on my M16/M203 as a reminder of his service and one of the reasons I'm here. Everywhere Ed went he made new friends; he was just that kind of person. We will avenge him and do our best to prevent great Americans like Ed from suffer the evil of terrorists. It shall be done.

Message: My class and I are doing a presentation on the members who died in this terrible incodent. I'd like say that he must have worked hard to get to where he was and that we are very proud of him. I'm going to talk about Edward and have this person remembered fairly, for he must have been a very brave man and was responsible.
